Luc Tuymans: Intolerance, October 19, 2015 - January 30, 2016
As I continue my research on interesting locations in Qatar without spending much, I found out on Qatar Museum instagram that Al Riwaq Hall has an Art Exhibition during the weekend which is open to the public for free viewing.
The exhibition hall looks plain from the outside but packed with surprising artwork inside.
Brochures are available at the reception in Arabic and English version just to give you some highlights of Mr. Luc Tuymans and his exhibition.
Here are some of the photos taken inside the hall. Enjoy!
Intolerance, 1993
A cluster of gaudy candlesticks, dating from the 1970s, from the personal collection of Tuymans' mother is the subject of Intolerance.
Wonderland
There are so many important facts written on the brochure... That made me realize, I should have read it before I enter the exhibit.
These paintings has the creepiest background story but I can't deny how amazing it is, isn't it?
